THE HOUSE

The house was once the village’s blacksmiths and is believed to date back to the 16th century. Today it has been restored in a contemporary style to a very high standard, blending old and new furniture with tasteful fabrics and

furnishings.

The four letting rooms are all large and well laid out, each with its own style and character. They each contain TV, fridge, hairdryer, radio alarms, tea and coffee etc.

Breakfast is served in our large open plan kitchen and dining room, the extensive menu centres on the “full English” and features a wide choice of local and homemade produce.

We also offer a cooked vegetarian option and a selection of fruit, yoghurts and croissants, we can cater for wheat and dairy intolerance.

Free WiFi access is available throughout the house.

The river Kennet runs through our field at the front of the house and we have a delightful picnic area set aside its banks; if you're lucky you may even see trout swimming up river.

There is also private off road parking and secure bicycle storage.

Well behaved pets are welcome, by prior arrangement and are subject to an extra charge.
